Trinity’s Sixth Annual Chili Cook-Off a Big Success

This year’s Cook-off was another great success. There were plenty of incredible recipes, good conversations, and healthy dose of competition. The proceeds from the Cook-off are being donated to St. Dysmas Lutheran Congregation.

This year’s proceeds amounted to: $565.00 setting a six year record.

The adult winners of the contest were: Ron Reese and Dan Brooks
The youth winners of the contest were: Curtis and Brittany

What an awesome event! Thanks to Arlene, the Outreach Committee, all chili cooks, and of course, all the tasters. It was a real community showing and quite a crowd!

I almost skipped Sunday night dinner because of all the chili I tasted! This has really caught on – I met lots of “repeat” people that really look forward to this. Special thanks to Dave Kulow who works his heart out preparing – and cleaning up.

O Thou Great Webmaster – you are so savvy! I hit submit more than once (frustrated with my slow connection) and you detected that I had already said that.

by the way, the couple that I sat with knew about the Chili Cookoff from our awesome website. Wanted to know if the Dutch Picnic entertainment schedule would be posted.
