Trinity’s Capital Campaign
On October 16, 2011, the congregation of Trinity voted to proceed with some capital improvements to the building – a new floor in the Social Hall; resizing of the kitchen closet; new kitchen appliances, a chair lift for the stairway in the narthex; and a new sound system for the sanctuary and social hall. As of today’s date (1/20), the new floor has been laid, the sound system installation is 99.9% complete, the chair lift was to be installed today and the kitchen appliances will arrive on Tuesday. That is alot to be accomplished in 90 days. Thanks to all who spent many hours seeing these projects to fruition. God bless!

We Would Like to Thank Everyone for Your Support
We have always known how generous and giving the folks of Trinity are but last night was simply over the top. New York J&P Pizza was packed with Trinitarians virtually the entire day. Your support of Michael’s mission has been unwavering. We will post the proceeds amount when it is available to us, but in the meantime, the Wilkins family would like to say THANK YOU with all our heart!

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to support Michael Wilkins’ CTI mission trip. He’s currently raising money for this year-long journey. CTI Music Ministries (Carpenters Tools International) spreads the good news of Christ through music and drama. The CTI teams perform numerous concerts in hospitals, seniors, prisons, and open air venues.
It’s easy to help. Just visit J&P in Finksburg, MD on Monday January 16th and present the flyer (below). Michael’s campaign will receive 15% of proceeds.
Last summer, Michael served on a summer team and traveled to Taiwan for 4 weeks. He said it was a life-changing experience. The year-long mission trips include tour dates around the United States, and two separate trips overseas. For more information on the mission trip browse the CTI website or contact Michael through email.

“Coming Home” – One Incredible Anniversary
This past Sunday, we observed our 145th Anniversary in an exciting celebration in front of a full house. Trinity Lutheran Church was founded in 1866 to help spread the Gospel (Good News) to the local community. Aside from a great feast, old and new friends, was another video production from our own “3 Guys in the Dark”.
Take a look! Our “3 Guys in the Dark” production group has captured the true essence of Trinity’s ministry that has sustained us through the years and will carry us through for many years to come.
