Learning at Trinity

TRINITY “KIDS PRAISE” SUNDAY SCHOOL
Sunday School begins at 10:05 a.m. in the Church Library for an opening discussion with the children and then they move to their classes.
** If there is one worship service held for a special reason, (i.e. Homecoming Service, Christmas Program, Chili Cook-0ff Day) at 10:30 a.m.., Sunday School will be held at 9:30 a.m.

CHILDREN’S GATHERING NIGHT – February 17, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
This gathering is for children in Kindergarten – 7th Grade

YOUTH GATHERING NIGHT - Sunday, February 26, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
This gathering is for youth Grade 8-12.

CHILDREN’S EDUCATION:
Children ages 2 – grade 6 will gather together for the “Praise Kids Hour”, our new Christian Education Program, each Sunday morning from 10:05 am – 11:00 am on the lower level. The will gather in the Library for an opening time of prayer and song then will move on to their classrooms for more learning fun. The new curriculum used will concentrate on one Bible Story a month and provide different ways to learn the story through music, drama, science, crafts, puppets, movie room and much more.

ADULT BIBLE STUDY:
“Questions for Jesus-Studies in Mark” will be the next Bible Study series.  This study addresses six questions:

  1. What do you think about marriage and divorce?
  2. What must I do to be saved?
  3. What does it cost to be your follower?
  4. How boldly can I pray?
  5. What comes first in my life?
  6. How much should I give?

Bible study classes will be held Starting January 8th—(no class Feb. 5th and 9th)
*Sundays–supper at 6:00 p.m. and study at 6:30 p.m.
**Morning classes will be held on Thursdays at 10:00 a.m.

*Due to renovations the Sunday class will be held downstairs January 15th and 22nd.
**Due to renovations the morning class will be held in the church.

CONFIRMATION CLASS SCHEDULE 2011-2012:
Time 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.
January 8
February 5
March 4
(No class in April – Holy Week and Easter Sunday)
May 6
May 20 – Confirmation Sunday

Do You Have Talent??? Do you have a talent or special interest that you are willing to share? If yes, the “Praise Kids Hour” needs you! We are looking for folks who would like to share their artistic, musical, science, dramatic and other special talents in our new Christian Ed program.
