Thank you to all who helped or attended the 134th Annual Dutch Picnic Festival.  God provided a beautiful day for all of us to enjoy!   Mark your calendars for the 135th Festival on August 6, 2011.

Believe it or not, the 134th Dutch Picnic Festival is just around the corner.  The date is August 7 and runs all day long with various activities, entertainment and food available.  Come on out to take a look at the various gift baskets that are up for bid in our Silent Auction; visit our vendors in the Dutch Market area; a small Children’s section is available for games and our moonbouce.

Great food is available all day long – this year we will be featuring Fried Chicken Platters that will be sold at our outside food stand as well as the Fried Chicken & Ham Dinner that has been a staple of the picnic for over 50 years.

Entertainment can be enjoyed all day long.  Start the day with Blaine Brown, a local DJ who will be spinning the hits of yesteryear. Rich Fehle, a member of Trinity and an aspiring country singer and songwriter, will entertain in the late morning;  The Gospel Travelers will entertain in the early afternoon; and the evening will feature The Glade Valley Travelers and the Carroll County Cloggers.

Mark your calendars for the next quarterly Belgian Waffle & Pancake Breakfast to be held on October 16 from 7-11 a.m..   We will be serving Pancakes, Belgian Waffles with assorted toppings, scrambled eggs, sausage, juice and coffee.  Cost is $6.00 for adults and $3.00 for children.  E-mail [email protected] with any questions.
