Trinity is hosting its annual Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, October 22 from 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. We invite juried craft vendors to join us so that we can present high quality products for our visitors. Vendors who wish to apply for a space can download the Application form. The guidelines are specific. Contact Ruth Stewart with any questions.

For our guests – vendors can be found on two levels of our church building. A lite breakfast and lunch will be available for purchase. We are looking forward to a wide variety of crafts and gift ideas for you to peruse. Please contact office@trinitywired.org with any questions.

New York J&P Pizza is again hosting a fundraising day for Trinity. On Wednesday, September 21, J&P will donate 15% of your bill back to Trinity if you present the attached coupon. CREATED, LOVED AND FORGIVEN!!

All are welcome to attend our luncheon meeting on Sunday, August 21 at Bullock’s Restaurant at 12:15 p.m.  Get your lunch and then we will join our committee’s in planning and discussing our fall worship, educational ideas and other activities.  Contact Sandy Miller (sandy@trinitywired.org) with questions.

Just a quick note from all of us at Trinity thanking all who came out and worked the Dutch Picnic, provided entertainment, set up as a vendor for our Dutch Market, made donations, and EVERYONE who came out and supported the picnic!  We couldn’t do it without you.  Mark down August 4, 2012 for the 136th Annual Dutch Picnic.

The 135th annual Dutch Picnic is just around the corner!  We have made some changes this year with the closing at 6:00 p.m.  Our “Raise Up Praise!” Band will be providing some afternoon entertainment and  Trinity’s Little “Dutch” Band will be on stage as well. Early in the day you can see “Damascus Road Trio” which is a gospel group and the Glade Valley Travelers (bluegrass) will be performing late afternoon.

If you have been with us before, you know that the same great food will be available.  Out outside food stand will be up and running selling sandwiches and chicken platters. We will also have french fries, ice cream and funnel cakes available for purchase.  The AYCE Fried Chicken & Ham Dinner will be served in the social hall starting at 1:00 p.m.

As we have been doing for approx. 2 years or so, Trinity hosts a quarterly Belgian Waffle/Pancake Breakfast that benefits Trinity’s ministries or ministries in and around our community. On Saturday, July 16, the breakfast is designated to benefit Westminster’s Carroll Lutheran School. Please invite your friends/family and in turn ask them to as their friends and families as well.

Pastor Dahl also serves on the board of directors of the Carroll Lutheran School. The school will be beginning its 11th academic year in September and serves grades K-8th.

The success of these ventures into outreach and ministry relies on the help you can give! Thank you for anything you can do!

The community is invited to gather with us on Sunday, July 3rd for our annual “God and Country” service to be held at 9:00 a.m. outside in the picnic pavilion – which is across the street from the sanctuary.   We will worship together and then recognize the veterans in attendance, thanking them for their valiant efforts in assuring us the freedoms that we share today.  Music for the service will provided by the Westminster Band.  The Westminster Band Color Guard will present the colors during our veteran recognition. 

Following the service and recognition, a light brunch can be shared by all.
