March is Colon Cancer Awareness Month, and 45 is the new 50! The American Cancer Society recommends that people at an average risk of developing colon cancer should begin screening at age 45, and not the previous recommended age of 50.  Visit the Health and Wellness bulletin board and information table, both in the social hall, so that you may be better informed about colon cancer.  Also, remember to remind your family and friends of the importance of colon screening.
