Trinity and Grace (Trace) are excited to come together this summer to offer bi-weekly 7 p.m. Wednesday evening walks exploring God’s creation throughout our communities!

Each time we gather for “Walk with the Lord,” we will begin in a centralized location (such as a parking lot) for a socially distanced prayer before we go out on our own. We will provide devotions, which will be available electronically the Sunday prior on our church website and social media accounts or by mail (request only). Individuals or households can do their devotions during the walk as a way to help center and focus our time with God.

If you are unable to gather with us for the Wednesday evening walk, we invite you to participate using the devotion on your own! We invite everyone, whether you join us Wednesday or participate on your own, to capture a photo from your walk and share it on social media with #WalkWithTheLord. If you do not have social media, we hope you will still capture a photo from your walk and send it to Pastor Melissa via email (melissa@trinitywired.org) so that she can post it on our social media!

TRACE’s next “Walk with the Lord” will be on Wednesday July 8 at 7 p.m. at the McKeldin Area of Patapsco Valley State Park (11676 Marriottsville Rd, Marriottsville MD).  We will gather for prayer in the parking area just beyond the McKeldin Area entrance across from the Ranger Station! There is a $2/car entrance fee for in-state vehicles and $4/car entrance fee for out of state vehicles; if this is an issue for you please contact Pastor Melissa.  We do not want cost to prohibit anyone from participating!

There are 6 trails accessible from the McKeldin area ranging from .3 mile to 4 miles. Four-legged friends are welcome on a leash! After our physically distanced prayer, you can choose any one of these trails to enjoy your evening #WalkWithTheLord! And don’t forget to capture a photo to share! We’ve created a website where you can access the devotions beginning the Sunday prior as well as participate in community by sharing photos and reflections in the forum! Find us at walkwiththelord202.wixsite.com/website or on the Wix app under “Walk with the Lord”! If you cannot join us on a Wednesday evening, we encourage you to take the devotion on a walk on your own any day of the week and join us by posting with the hashtag #WalkWiththeLord or by posting on the website!

  1. Rapids Trail (.7 mile)
